FAQ’s About Our Rentals
Q: Do you allow pets?
A: Each property is individually owned and each owner sets the criteria for their rental property. Generally a $500 pet deposit is required if pets are allowed.
Q: Do you run credit checks? What do they include?
A: Yes, we run checks on credit, criminal background, employment verification, and previous evictions/rental history. The cost is $30.00 per applicant, due at the time the application is submitted.
Q: How much is the security deposit?
A: Normally landlords require equivalent to 1-1/2 months’ rent for an unfurnished unit.
Q: When is rent due?
A: Rent is due on the first day of every month and late if not received within 5 calendar days after the first. Late fees of 6% will be applied and the tenant will be responsible for paying these. A returned check (NSF) fee of $25.00 also applies.
Q: Do I need renter’s insurance?
A: No, it’s not required, but we do highly recommend getting coverage. In case of fire, flood, accident or theft, your belongings will not to be covered under the owner's insurance policy. Renter's insurance typically costs $20-$30 per month.
Q: Who pays utilities?
A: Utilities are normally the responsibility of the tenant. Below is some contact information:
